I've been practicing massage and bodywork since 2001. My love of traveling and being exposed to innovative ideas and different cultures influences my approach to massage and the healing arts. In my experience, touch is an integral part of community and a gateway to a deeper connectedness and awareness. Over the years, I’ve learned how important spiritual + energy medicine is to supporting clients in their healing process.
I'm grateful to live in South Seattle and enjoy gardening at home, watching documentaries, spending time with the animals, Lilu, Bambina & Rocky cats and walking Tapiwa dog. I treasure time in nature, wonder in the plant world and being with the ocean.
Additional formal areas of study: Ongoing courtship with craniosacral work, Certified Innate Traditions Postnatal Care practitioner, Certified ATMAT® practitioner focusing on fertility, pregnancy, postnatal phases, menopause, prolapse, visceral manipulation, reiki, healing touch, lomi lomi, hot stones, acutonics, reflexology.
Independent studies: wild foraging plants as medicine, mushrooms arounds WA state and beyond, the wisdom of gem + granite stone, grounded magic of the natural world, botanicals, spiritual nutrition, neuroscience reflecting our intuition and the mysteries of our nervous system.

The name Root Down sunk into my lap during a meditation. A gentle reminder to hear with my heart and understand my roots. To reconnect with my calling so that I may be present for other's in need. There are many avenues to feeling good, to feeling better and to welcome presence. I'm honored to share my work, continual professional study and self care tools to embrace our shadow selves + reawaken the inner wisdom we all carry in our bones, at our core from our ancestors to the generations that come afterward.

“Sadness gives depth. Happiness gives height. Sadness gives roots. Happiness gives branches. Happiness is like a tree going into the sky, and sadness is like the roots going down into the womb of the earth. Both are needed, and the higher a tree goes, the deeper it goes, simultaneously. The bigger the tree, the bigger will be its roots. In fact, it is always in proportion. That’s its balance.”
